Legacy Code

Logline:
When a covert agent infiltrates a port syndicate, he discovers the crime he was recruited to expose was never about contraband — but about the blood he never knew he carried.
Synopsis:
At the heart of Singapore's industrial maze stands Don Diego, enigmatic head of the Commonwealth Trade Company — a man whose empire is built as much on silence as it is on shipping. His daughter, Evita, sharp and loyal, runs operations at his side, unaware that the shadows around them aren't just cast by the port cranes.
Inspector Chen, once a man of principle — and once in love with Chun Hua, Diego's former flame — has spent decades nursing a quiet vendetta. His weapon: Steve, Diego's estranged son, raised without the truth and now stuck in a correctional facility.
Chen recruits Steve into a covert sting — no badge, no number, just whispered purpose. He tells Steve he's an operative, and places him inside Diego's organization with one goal: bring the empire down. But as Steve chases ghosts, he steps into the very bloodline he never knew he carried.
Everything collides on the docks where it all began — under the weight of a false tip, a fractured arrest, and the unmasking of truths stitched into silence. There, Steve learns what legacy really costs — and why belonging sometimes comes too late.
Legacy Code is a slow-burn noir thriller about inheritance without consent, identity built through surveillance, and the families that systems both make and undo.
